Inspired in 2011/2012

As most schools across the country prepare to send their charges off on summer vacation, I have a very simple question for you. Putting aside all of the tensions, conflicts and just plain silliness that has been part of the educational narrative in many jurisdictions this past year, I would love to have you share a moment of inspiration that you experienced this past year in your life as teacher, an administrator, parent or student.

What was it that got you thinking, talking or wondering about your role asĀ  one of the above? What were you reading that caused you to say, “huh!” somewhere along the way?

I’ll spend the next couple of days outlining a few of my own revelations, but I would love to hear yours!
